Walk the Walk came into being 20 years ago when just 13 women Power Walked the New York City Marathon in their bras to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. What started out as a one-off fundraising event has blossomed into a thriving multi-million pound charity, raising to date in excess of £112 million for vital breast cancer causes.

A huge part of Walk the Walk is raising awareness through power walking challenges including midnight MoonWalk Marathons in London and Edinburgh.

Volunteers are an essential part of the Walk the Walk team and without them The MoonWalks simply would not happen. Each year over 3,000 volunteers give their time to support Walk the Walk. By doing so they have fun, make friends and help raise millions of pounds for vital breast cancer causes.

As a volunteer, you will be giving up a few hours of your time to make a big difference. Walk the Walk have amazing and incredibly supportive people who donate their day, or a night's sleep!

Walk the Walk have various volunteering opportunities, from providing support and encouragement at power walking challenges to assisting in their Woking office updating databases, preparing packs for events, calling registered volunteers and various other activities.
